opportunity to welcome you to the AMERICAN RABBIT BREEDERS
ASSOCIATION (ARBA) District 3 website. District 3 consists of the
states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska,
and Iowa. It is a district with a strong tradition of quality
animals and friendly breeders. District 3 members travel
nationwide to exhibit successfully their rabbits and cavies. In
addition to national competition, there are also a myriad of
opportunities for breeders, both experienced and newcomers, to
exhibit their pride and joy at shows both large and small within
the district. On this website, you will find links to the state
organizations in our district, as well as links to the national
breed clubs and the ARBA. I hope you enjoy your visit
to our website and have the opportunity to join us in our hobby.

The
DISTRICT 3 REPORTER is a great
resource to find out what is going on in our area. If you are
unsure if you are in District 3, it includes American Rabbit
Breeders Association members who raise and breed rabbits and
cavies in the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota,
South Dakota and Wisconsin. Simply, this is a list where we can
discuss issues new and old, advise, inform, advertise and most of
all stay on tap with what is going on in District 3.
The AMERICAN RABBIT BREEDERS ASSOCIATION,
INC. is an organization dedicated to the promotion,
development and improvement of the domestic rabbit and cavy. With
over 30,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, and
abroad,our members range from the pet owner with one rabbit or
cavy to the breeder or commercial raiser with several hundred
animals. Each aspect of the rabbit and cavy industry, whether it
be fancy (for exhibition), as a pet, or for commercial value, is
encouraged by our organization. We welcome all levels of rabbit
and cavy enthusiasts to join our rewarding
association.
Each year an ARBA
NATIONAL CONVENTION is held and this year the 84th Annual Convention & Show will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan
at the DeVos Convention Center from October 14 through October 18, 2007. The headquarters hotel is the
Amway Grand Plaza.
For those of you who like to plan ahead, the 85th Annual Convention & Show
will be in Louisville, Kentucky.
Below is a
list of your ARBA STATE REPRESENATIVES who have been
appointed by our previous director, Mike Avesing. These devoted volunteers
continually keep track of what is happening in their respective
state. They help out in running shows, educational programs and
even a few might judge your animals some day. They are experienced
rabbit and cavy breeders who are highly resourceful, so please do
not hesitate to contact any of them. Take some time to introduce
yourself to one of them at an upcoming show
