Dear Valued ARBA Members:
As many of you recognize, January 1st is the renewal date for charters and licenses. At the time of charter renewal many clubs also place their sanction requests. This is a great time for the ARBA! As your office staff receive and process these renewals, please note that we are processing hundreds of transactions a day. At this time, it may take a few days for your renewal to be processed and we ask for your patience as we work to serve you. Thank you for understanding and for your contributions to our collective effort to provide our membership with the best possible service.
All the best,
Eric Stewart
Executive Director
With the passing today of Eabert “Fibber” McGehee the ARBA lost a master rabbit breeder and tremendous friend. Fib was a true legend in the rabbit industry. His many accomplishments are a standard for us all to strive to achieve. However, best of all he was a gentleman and class act.
It was my extreme honor to call him a very dear friend! Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
We love you and salute you dear friend! Rest in peace!
Thank you
Chris Hayhow

Dear ARBA Members:
I regret to report that the ARBA lost a dear friend, father, and icon today. ARBA Hall of Fame Member-Fibber McGehee of Oklahoma passed away. Fibber was an incredible breeder, strong supporter of the ARBA, respected judge, tough competitor, and most importantly a gentleman and friend. The ARBA was honored to have Fibber cut the ribbon, opening the 2009 ARBA National Convention and Show as well as present the Convention’s coveted Open BIS “Fibber Cup” in San Diego. We are all indebted to Fibber for his contributions through the years, and we are all the better for having been in his presence. We will post more information as it is forthcoming.
With a heavy heart,
Eric Stewart
